‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episode 38 Review: Vegeta Loses To Hit; Goku Defeated As Well?

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 38 showed Hit defeating Vegeta. It also featured the Universe 6 fighter's battle with Goku.

Attack of the Fanboy reported that, after he had taken out Frost, Magetta and Cabba, Vegeta now faced his toughest opponent in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 38. Whis explained that Universe 6 fighter Hit is very strong.

Apparently, he has never failed at a task in his life and he has taken out everyone whom he had had to battle. The Saiyan Prince wasted no time in transforming to his Super Saiyan Blue form.

"The thing that makes Hit so cool is just how calm and collected he is," the website wrote. "His speed is unmatched and he hits Vegeta in the throat like it was nothing. He tells Vegeta that he should surrender, but Vegeta is not one to quit so easily."

Hit attacked Vegeta's vital points in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 38. Unable to defend himself, the Saiyan Prince was defeated by the Universe 6 fighter with a punch in the gut.

Jaco explained that Hit has the ability to skip time for a short period. This is the reason why Vegeta had a hard time hitting him.

The next fight is between Goku and Hit. Whis wants the Super Saiyan to figure out how to defeat his opponent which was why he kept the information to himself.

It was revealed in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 38 that Monaka was not very strong at all. Whis and Beerus lied to Goku and Vegeta so that they will train very hard to become stronger.

Unlike Vegeta, Goku does not immediately transform to his Super Saiyan Blue form since he wants to know how to block Hit's attacks.

According to Movie Pilot, Goku was actually saving his god ki and energy. He eventually succeeded in hitting the Universe 6 fighter with a backhand. It seems that he has finally learned Hit's secret.
