'Cyberpunk 2077' Release Date For PS4, PC And Xbox In 2017: CD Projekt Red Teased The Possibility Of Another Game In 2016?

Now since the CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwinski confirmed that ''Cyberpunk 2077'' will not be released in 2016, the gaming world is waiting for the update on the possibility of another game by the makers of ''The Witcher'' series.

Robert Purchese of Eurogamer had interviewed Iwinski and came to know about many facts of the upcoming games from the makers CD Projekt Red. He hinted about the possibility of another game in E3 this year. He was reluctant to talk more about the new game and did not comment whether it will be better that ''The Witcher.''

"I cannot talk about plans but we have to adjust to it and also adjust our own ambitions. Assuming that we could have something out this year, if it will not be better than Witcher 3, people [will say], 'Hmm, wow, why is it not better?' Witcher 3 set a certain bar and we definitely cannot go lower. It's always about improving and making new, pretty stuff, [and] storytelling games and mechanics and what not'' is what Iwinski had to say without revealing much about the forthcoming game.

Since ''The Witcher 3'' was commercially very successful, the gaming world's expectations are very high from CD Projekt Red. However, Iwinski did not want to comment on that. "This is a tricky part here because we shouldn't really talk about Cyberpunk," said Iwinski, "but I'll give you one reason why. Every single time I say something like this, like 'yes we can invest...' - which is true, essentially - it makes big news. And I think this big news is sort of becoming, first of all, repetitive, and second, maybe a bit too bloated. We are not spinning it into big news, and we really want to expose anything to be perceived like a big ego'' was his explanation about his reluctance to talk further about the game.

Iwinski said that he is fed up of the accusations from the media and gaming news providers that ''CD Projekt Red promises more and more with Cyberpunk but doesn't show anything'' and now he just wants to release the games and allow the players to decide what they feel about the games. He does not want to hype much about the games which are in the development stage.

"Right now it's the end of talking about Cyberpunk until we can go out there and show stuff and say, 'Hey, here it is,' because that's how we do games," he said. "There is too much talking about what it possibly could be, and how big, and...'' is what he said and concluded.

So since the speculations will be on till the game is released, Kpopstarz will try to collate the information and bring it to the readers. Tune in for more updates here.
