JYP rookie girl group TWICE are racking up the YouTube views with their debut music video "OOH-AHH" already hitting the 70 million mark just 8 months since its release -- and just in time to serve as a present for Tzuyu's birthday.
The company announced the milestone achievement through TWICE's official Twitter account.
"70,000,000 VIEWS. FANTASTIC ONCE," read the celebratory tweet, congratulating the TWICE fan club.
The "OOH-AHH" music video was released on October 19, 2015 with a zombie apocalypse concept and dancing to an upbeat track about a girl pining for heart-thumping romance to arrive.
Fans rejoiced at the impressive achievement, especially since there was a last-minute push to make the 70 million views a present for member Tzuyu who celebrated her birthday on June 14.
Also, TWICE has beaten the number of views of music videos from other top girl groups like Girls' Generation's Lion Heart (56 million at 9 months) and AOA's Heart Attack (37 million at 11 months), which were notably released earlier than "OOH-AHH".
TWICE followers on YouTube are now aiming to bump up the view count to 100 million, with some fans aiming to reach it by TWICE's first anniversary which is around four months away.
Meanwhile, TWICE's second music video "CHEER UP" has reached 47 million views.
Congratulations to TWICE!
