"Jurassic World" is definitely one of the most successful movies this year, earning $163 million on its opening weekend at the box office.
"'Jurassic World' is leaving a major footprint on the domestic box office," Variety reported. "According to early estimates, the "Jurassic Park" sequel is on track for $70 million on Friday and a massive opening weekend of $162 million."
And while most are satisfied with the movie, some are throwing serious accusations of racism when the cast was heard calling the group of dinosaurs called Pachycephalosaurus as "Pakis."
Not known to all, Pakis is an offensive term for Pakistanis in U.K.
Intentional or not, British comedian Guzzy Bear reportedly asked for a boycott, The Hollywood Reporter said.
"Now, British comedian Guzzy Bear (as his character Mobeen) has called for a boycott of the film. In a tongue-in-cheek video, he rants against Jurassic World, taking issue with dialogue such as, 'The Pakis are out of containment!' and 'The Pakis short out their implants when they butt heads!'" The publication reported.
Universal, on the other hand, has chosen to keep silent about the allegations.
And while the giant studio is under fire for the shorthand name of Pachycephalosaurus, it has been reported that a sequel is already in the works.
"We definitely talked about [sequels] a lot," director Colin Trevorrow admitted. "We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story."
Jurassic World Org added that the follow-up to "Jurassic World" movie is definitely happening, but the development is still left at "blue sky."
And while it's most certain that Universal is gearing up for a sequel, Trevorrow is reportedly not returning to direct.
"Jurassic Park is like Star Wars," Trevorrow said according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Different directors can give a different taste to each movie."
"I would be involved in some way, but not as a director," he said of his involvement for the upcoming films.
He was however, the one announced the coming of the sequel in an interview with Empire.
The official plot summary to "Jurassic World" reads below:
"22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. This new park is owned by the Patel Corporation. Owen, a member of Jurassic World's on-site staff, conducts behavioral research on the Velociraptors. After many years, Jurassic World's attendance rates begin to decline and a new attraction, created to re-spark visitor interest, gravely backfires."
Chris Pratt led "Jurassic World" cast members with Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, BD Wong and Irrfan Khan.
Also included are Vincent D'Onofrio, Judy Greer, Lauren Lapkus, Brian Tee, Andy Buckley, James DuMont, Courtney James Clark, Omar Sy and Katie McGrath.
No news yet if lead stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins will all be returning for "Jurassic World" sequel.
