Ex-MBLAQ member Thunder on the works for his solo album and shows teaser photo

As loud as his stage name, Thunder is set to come back as a solo singer-songwriter.

Known to most K-Pop fans as 2NE1's Dara's brother, Thunder, a former part of the boy group MBLAQ, is setting a career on his own after he left the boy group managed by hallyu superstar Rain two years ago. After parting ways with his former agency J.Tune, he signed a contract under the Mystic Entertainment which is the agency responsible for the promotions of his debut as a solo artist.

According to K-Pop Map, for the past years, Thunder focused on careers outside the field of music which included acting. He was also able to hone his skills in songwriting through those years. Now, he is more than ready to let the world know of this through his comeback album.

Although Mystic Entertainment remained quiet regarding the comeback as of the time of writing of this article, they hinted that Thunder's album shall be released some time in the middle of December. They further teased the fans that the line up of his songs on the album are really amazing and the songs perfectly showcase the hidden side of Thunder. However, they didn't released any specific details yet such as the date of his comeback stage performance.

Despite having no specific details, just last November 27, Mystic Entertainment kept the anticipation rising as they released the teaser photo for Thunder's album. As seen in the photo posted by All Kpop, Thunder sports a messy hair while wearing winter-perfect clothes with dark shades. Only the shade of orange acts as a highlighting effect in the photo.

Fans are expecting a more mature and sexier concept for Thunder's debut as a solo artist. When he was still in MBLAQ, many can recall that the group also employed some sexy concepts and they can't help but hope that Thunder would still go for the same concept.
