It has been revealed! It is indeed Kara's former member, Young Ji, who will be the fifth member of K.A.R.D!
DSP Media has posted on K.A.R.D's official social media accounts that it is indeed Young Ji who will be the fifth and the "hidden" member of K.A.R.D.
Fans of Young Ji are jubilant because Young Ji will have another opportunity to showcase her talents being an idol. She has been added to Kara after winning the "Kara Project, " but after a year and more, Kara disbanded, so Young Ji is just on varieties and acting here and there.
Now, she will get to do what she wants, which is to perform. DSP Media is still said to add more members in K.A.R.D after each project is done. There is also news that Young Ji might not be a permanent member as she might be just part of the first project.
Kpopstarz has reported that DSP Media will debut a new K-Pop group and it is going to be a co-ed group. They have released teasers, pictures of each of the members. They have revealed he members namely, BM, J.Seph, Ji Woo, Somin, April's former leader and last is Young Ji.
Kpopstarz has also reported that DSP Media has uploaded some video performance teasers of each of the members. Each teaser showed what the talent of the particular member is. Also, in the teasers, the songs played are the same so that might be their debut song.
It has been a while since there is a co-ed group in K-Pop. The last group to debut, Co-Ed School, from Core Contents Media (which in now MBK Entertainment), has failed to manage the group well. There were many rumors and even rape accusations that happened during their time.
Some K-Pop fans are interested in the group. They are hoping DSP Media can handle the group well and will not make the same mistakes they did from their past groups.
