For sure, VIPs and Black Jacks around the world will be in for some treat this Christmas season as Big Bang's G-Dragon and former 2NE1 member CL will be sharing the same stage on SBS Gayo Daejun.
As stated in a report by Koreaboo, G-Dragon and CL will be collaborating for a performance on December 26 at the year-end stage of Gayo Daejun. Although there were no official statement from YG Entertainment regarding the details of the performance, insiders are saying that the two will most likely perform "The Leaders" from G-Dragon's 2009 album since both of them are literally the leaders of their respective groups. The two previously collaborated for the said song and performed it way back in 2009 on Gayo Daejun as well.
This performance will not only feature the two YG Entertainment icons but also other rappers personally chosen by G-Dragon and CL. As revealed by Kpop Map, other YG Entertainment icons will also assist in the performance such as Teddy who will supervise the stage performance as a producer.
2016 has been pretty hectic and controversial for both Big Bang and 2NE1. 2NE1 just recently disbanded with no comebacks and Black Jacks are pretty sad about that. CL is currently promoting and expanding in USA, and fans can't wait to see her back on stage before the year ends.
Likewise, Big Bang is currently promoting their comeback album "Made". Despite good feedbacks on their album tracks, members of the group are currently having some controversies such as TOP entering the military after their promotions and Seungri being involved in a dating scandal.
With or without controversies, for sure YG Entertainment fans miss seeing the two artists perform on stage. Catch the year-end performance and the collaboration stage of G-Dragon and CL after six years on SBS this December 26.
