BIGBANG Grabs A Spot In ‘Forbes’ ’30 Under 30 Music’ List!

It seems that BIGBANG continues to turn heads internationally! U.S. economic magazine, Forbes, just released the '30 Under 30' for 2017 and it seems the Kpop powerhouse has made the list. This annual list showcases some of the world's most influential people under the age of 3o in a number of categories. The five member group were the only Kpop group to make the list. The boys were listed in the '30 Under 30 Celebrities/Music' category alongside icons such as NBA star Kyrie Irving, American football player Odell Beckham Jr., Hollywood actress and singer Hilary Duff, and R&B singer Jeremih. According to the magazine, "The Seoul-based boyband pulled in $44 million last year playing arenas in Asia and beyond, clocking the biggest year ever for a K-Pop act-and becoming the genre's first to land on our Celebrity 100 list. The Backstreet Boys and One Direction are the only boybands who've earned more in a single year."

The group was once more mentioned in the magazine's '30 Under 30 Class of 2017.' According to the article, "Some have already achieved massive financial success, like Bigbang. The K-Pop boyband earned $44 million last year, No. 54 among the world's highest-paid celebrities-and easily more than top U.S. all-male groups like Maroon 5. Members of Bigbang are still catching up to their own prosperity. "We made more than Maroon 5?" said front man Kwon "G-Dragon" Jiyong, through a translator. "Did not know that. My mom is in charge of my earnings."

Congrats boys, what a great way to start 2017!
