Red Velvet fans are rejoicing as news broke out that the all girl Kpop group is ready to make a comeback. Previous reports have already hinted that Red Velvet is planning a big comeback by the end of this month or in February. However, it remained unconfirmed until today.
According to All Kpop, the reps and agency of Red Velvet, SM Entertainment, has confirmed that Red Velvet is indeed preparing for a comeback. "Red Velvet are currently preparing for a new album. Comeback promotions will begin next week, so please give them your attention," SM Entertainment released in an official announcement.
Ever since the 3rd mini-album of Red Velvet, "Russian Roulette," has been released in September 2016, the girls have been on hiatus and their fans have been missing them since. The newly announced Red Velvet comeback has certainly put a smile on the fans' faces.
The recently concluded Seoul Music Awards 2017 was also graced with the performance of Red Velvet. Other Kpop artists who performed in the Seoul Music Awards 2017 include GFriend, Taeyeon, Gummy, BTS and EXO.
Red Velvet fans won't have to wait long for the much-awaited comeback of the popular Korean girl group. According to Soompi, Red Velvet is set to have a comeback in February. Of course, a comeback is not complete without a new album, so fans are excitedly awaiting the newest Red Velvet album.
Although the official Red Velvet comeback is scheduled in February, promotions are expected to roll out as early as the last week of January. Fans are very excited and intrigued about what Red Velvet's comeback has in store for them. As of writing, no exact date in February has been set for the Red Velvet comeback.
