Luna, Solar, and Hani Collaborated For 'Honey Bee' MV

The previous year ended with several collaborations from top K-pop artists and it seems like 2017 will be up for more fantastic collaborations. Guess what? MAMAMOO's Solar, f(x)'s Luna, and EXID's Hani just collaborated for "Honey Bee".

Earlier this week, Soompi wrote that the three talented girls from some of the top girl groups in K-pop industry are in the talks for promoting "Honey Bee". On the same date, Mystic Entertainment also revealed that it is indeed hard to set a common schedule among the girls especially that they have their respective schedules from their girl groups but they are currently negotiating so that fans would be able to see the three on stage for the song.

Furthermore, Mystic Entertainment also shared that the song "Honey Bee" was initially planned to be a digital song alone. A representative also explained that they only planned to have it digitally released just like the hit single "Dream" by EXO's Baekhyun and Miss A's Suzy. However, due to popular demand and curiosity among the public, they decided to release an MV for the song.

"Honey Bee" was produced by renowned K-pop MV director and producer Park Geun Tae. All Kpop wrote that he was also responsible for the soothing video for "Dream".

Luna, Solar, and Hani are known for their unique vocals and "Honey Bee" showcased this prowess among the girls. The song is actually a mixture of pop and jazz highlighting the soothing melodies of saxophones and bass which matches the timbre of the trio's voices.

The music video also showed more matured and sexier versions of the girls deviating from their innocent images from their respective girl groups. The setting for "Honey Bee" was shot in a dim-lit bar which fits the mood of the song in general.

Haven't seen the MV yet? Well, no worries as you can check the MV for "Honey Bee" below. Are you one of those who want to see Luna, Solar, and Hani together on stage for "Honey Bee"?
