It was a stacked month of January for Kpop as top artists duked it out to reign supreme at the charts including Rain's "The Best Present", Hello Venus' "Mysterious, Dreamcatcher's "Chase Me," and Yeojin's "Kiss Later" released to start the year strong. February's comebacks promise to give the January idols a run for their money as the line up is as hot the new music they promise to unleash.
According to Kpopmap, some of the artists to watch out for this month are Red Velvet, Zion.T, Song DongWoon of BEAST (Around US Entertainment), MadClown & Bolbbalgan4. MASC, BLOCK B, SF9, DAY6, Skull, Cross Gene, NCT Dream, Hong JinYoung, Wonder Girls, BTS, B.I.G, BIGFLO, Melody Day, Various, K.A.R.D, MC Mong, VAV, TaeYeon, TWICE, ASTRO, 100%, Gavy NJ, IMFACT and gu9udan are also slated to make a comeback this month.
Some of the releases have already been making waves like BTS' "Wings: You Never Walk Alone" which features the tracks "Not Today," "Outro: Wings," "A Supplementary Story: You Never Walk Alone," and the instant hit "Spring Day," which has posted the record for the fastest time to reach 20 million views for the MV on youtube, toppling the record initially set by Twice's ""TT" MV, Billboard reported.
Twice is also set to make waves with its new album Knock Knock which is set to come out on February 20. Another popular boy band ASTRO has also confirmed that they are working on a special album and is gearing for a comeback either by the end of this month or early March.
Girls Generation TaeYeon is also gearing for the release of her new album soon with the teaser for her pre-release single "I Got Love" already generating more excitement for her music.
Kpop idols 100% has also released teaser images for its comeback album "Sketchbook." The anticipated album is expected to drop February 22nd.
