Just recently, a parody on a "Goblin"-themed fast food commercial went out. After it, another one came out, and this time, it's for a make-up company. Speaking of the new make-up commercial, Shownu of MONSTA X and Yebin of DIA has just partnered to bring about one of the most entertaining, yet accurate parody of "Goblin".
With the acting out of all the iconic scenes from the K-pop drama, Shownu and Yebin had indeed owned the commercials. According to Koogle, one of the main highlights of the new parody was the twisting of the bottle, instead of it blowing out in flames.
The scene was perfectly acted out, it's as if you were watching the drama series all over again, only to find out that you're just tuning in to a very accurate rendition and parody of "Goblin". It's really that entertaining and good.
According to Soompi, the main purpose of the commercial parody was to sell the nail polish bottle of the makeup company. It is a liquid blush that is stored in a bottle. Another highlight of the parody which surely was very entertaining was when Showny thought to himself that he has waited 900 years just for the moment of applying the blush.
It was really a hilarious idea from the director to accurately portray the exact happenings in the show, and turning it into pure humor. The magic happens next when he applies the liquid blush on her cheeks.
The memorable line of Shownu saying that the blush applied was blindingly bright is another direct connotation coming from the drama series. Surely, the director and the two K-pop sensations, Shownu and Yebin, knows how to put creativity and humor in a parody of one of the most memorable drama shows to air in Korean TV, "Goblin".
Hopefully, more product commercials like this will come out soon.
