Actor Lee Hyun Woo and Red Velvet's Joy recently appeared in a teaser poster and behind-the-scene clips of the upcoming tvN's drama "The Liar and His Lover". Not only did the on-screen couple look adorable in the teaser, they also shared first impressions of one another in a behind-the scene-clip. Based on the strong chemistry that the actors have, a lot of fans suspected that Lee Hyun Woo and Joy could be the next Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo in "Descendants of The Sun".
Lee Hyun Woo and Red Velvet's Joy showed their adorable gestures towards each other in the behind-the-scene clip. Korea Boo noted they playfully blew bubbles at each other. Lee Hyun Woo then was asked how they thought of Joy when the first time they met. The actor revealed that he has nothing against the Red Velvet's member and just thought instantly that Joy looked kind and easy to befriend with.
Meanwhile, Joy thought of Lee Hyun Woo as a big brother who will always lead and guide her. According to Soompi, she mentioned that Hyun Woo always gives her eye-contact that sometimes makes her a little awkward. Joy also revealed that the way Lee Hyun Woo addresses her as "Ms. Joy" always makes her burst into laughter. The pair then proceeded to show how much closer they have become by joking at one another.
Red Velvet's Joy plays the role of a high school girl named Sorim who falls in love at the first sight with a genius songwriter named Kang Han Kyul (Lee Hyun Woo). "The Liar and His Lover" is an adaptation of a Japanese manga. The upcoming tvN's drama is expected to hit the screen on March 20, taking the time slot of "My Shy Boss" that's going to air its finale episode.
