SBS has just confirmed that the upcoming new TV drama will have Lee Ji Hoon, Jang Seo Hee, Kim Joo Hyun, Oh Yoon Ah and Kim Dasom. It is also reported that the title of the show would be "Sister is Alive", although this is not yet confirmed. The TV drama will air on April and will replace the time slot of "Our Gap Soon".
According to Korea Portal, "Sister is Alive" will focus on the story of three women who will take up a unified cause after experiencing a tragedy. The women's names are Min Deul Rae, Kim Eun Hyang and Kang Ha Ri.
They will be played by Jang Seo Hee, Oh Yoon Ah and Kim Joo Hyun respectively. Meanwhile, there will also be a love triangle in the show. This will be between Yang Dal Hee and Dasom.
The main love story in the drama will then be between Seol Ki Chan and Lee Ji Hoon. The three women would then decide to adopt a child so that they will have someone to raise as they grow older. This will then be the three women's source of inspiration.
According to Soompi, the show has high expectations as it is reported that Jo Boa would also be taking up a major role in the drama series. Reports suggest that she will take the role of an optimistic girl.
However, her life would be challenged by many trials as she continues to pursue her passion. The Korean TV drama is written be well-known writer, Kim Soon Wok. This will surely be one of the most popular TV dramas in Korean TV as it will evoke the emotions of its viewers with the human connection it will have in its story.
Episode one of "Sister is Alive" will be airing on TV on April 1.
