SISTAR To Renew Contract With Starship Entertainment, Members Featured On Cosmopolitan Pictorial

SISTAR is expected to make a comeback this month. However, the group's contract with Starship Entertainment will be expiring in June.

According to Allkpop, a representative from Starship Entertainment told the media that the members are still discussing whether or not they will continue promoting under the label. Judging by its success with Starship Entertainment for 7 years, SISTAR will most likely extend its contract, especially when the group's now gearing up to release its new album.

Fans are also expecting the same thing. They're hoping that SISTAR will be staying with its current label. But, there are also fans who wish the group would consider making its own label, just like what BEAST/Highlight did since they think Starship sort of treats SISTAR poorly although the girl group is the biggest money maker for the company.

Meanwhile, SISTAR members are in Macau now to film their new MV. The shooting has begun since May 18 and the group will be returning to Korea on May 21, Soompi reported. However, Dasom is expected to make a comeback earlier than the rest of the group since she'll be appearing in SBS drama "Sister Is Alive".

Ahead of the comeback, SISTAR members are recently featured in Cosmopolitan. The girls display their sexy bods in the black-and-white photos wearing a plain white dress shirt. On the Cosmopolitan's pictorial, the girls also did an interview, in which they talked about their upcoming comeback, dating, lifestyle, hobbies, and more.

SISTAR's comeback is scheduled for May 31, although previously the group aimed for a summer comeback in June, just like its other previous comebacks. For long SISTAR has been known as the summer queens with its release of several summer anthems like "Shake It", "Loving You", and "I Swear". SISTAR's upcoming title track has been composed by Black Eyed Pilseung, who also doctored SISTAR's hits like "I Like That" and "Touch My Body".
