BigBang was chosen as the ambassador or endorses of the popular Chinese beverage brand named, "Nongfu Spring." With this, all of the five members of BigBang have been part of all of the advertisements of Nongfu Spring. But due to the recent marijuana scandal that T.O.P is currently in, the company had surprisingly removed him out of the advertisement by means of photoshopping him out of it.
According to All K-pop, the four BigBang members are the only ones left in the Nongfu Spring advertisements. With this, one can clearly see that Nongfu Spring wants to maintain its clear name, and because of the marijuana case of their endorser, T.O.P, the company's reputation can be tarnished. This is the reason why they had instead opted to remove and photoshop him out of his previous appearances on the many different advertisements he has with the company.
In line with this, BigBang's T.O.P has recently written his own sincere apology letter regarding the current marijuana scandal that he is in. One can see that he is doing the best of what he can to redeem himself after this very serious scandal that he is in.
According to Scoops Nest, the police have tested T.O.P last year drug use. And surprisingly, the result of the drug test turned out positive. However, it is not yet confirmed if he has been using marijuana constantly or occasionally. Reports state that his case has been sent to the prosecution for further investigation.
Hopefully, everything turns out well for BigBang's T.O.P, especially that there are a lot of people that are idolizing him. For sure, his fans won't turn his back on him because he is still the same charming, talented and witty K-pop idol that he really is. Let's just hope that he won't be entangled in another case like this.
