Lee Hi Has A Panic Attack Because of JYP Putting Her On Hiatus

Lee Hi has recently voiced her opinions about her work and partnership with JYP Entertainment. However, the conversation became quite sensitive when singer Lee Hi began to cry due to her extended hiatus.

On an episode of SBS' 'Party People,' Lee Hi discussed the hot topic of being trapped in the company basement and it completely brought her to tears, She stated, "The hardest thing is when I can't do what I love as much as I want. I want to sing so much and I want to sing in front of my fans so much, but it didn't happen as freely as I wanted it to."

It seems JYP isn't helping her produce any new music or work anytime soon and Lee Hi feels trapped since she can't do the thing she is most passionate about. Fans expressed their empathy for the singer and agreed it must be difficult for to not be singing. Perhaps she may sign with a different label if things continue this way?

She continued to say, "I was able to sign to a label through an audition program, and I released an album quickly because my CEO was fond of me. Afterwards, I felt that I needed to take a break to practice where I was lacking. But I didn't know that break would become so long."

On the show, she continued to express her sorrow and soon became overwhelmed and started breathing heavily as she continued, "My teens passed and now I'm in my 20's, but I didn't have an album. I thought, 'When will I be able to sing again?'" She further continued that because of her worries, she even had panic attacks and further stated, "At that time, I couldn't breathe well. I had a panic disorder and I felt frustrated to the point that I can't even express. I didn't know I couldn't breathe well, but when I was trying to breathe through a plastic bag, I realized I couldn't. So I went to the hospital."

Hopefully, Lee Hi will arrange a comeback soon and stay healthy. Stay tuned for more updates.
