The production team behind "Strangers From Hell" has confirmed that A-list actor Lee Dong Wook will be joining Im Siwan's drama comeback following the latter's military discharge.

Dong Wook will play the role of Seo Moon Jo, a dentist who will help the character of Siwan adjust to city life. Siwan, who will give life to the fictional Yoon Jong Woo, is a man in his 20s who comes from the countryside and moves to Seoul for his new work.
The thriller drama will follow the story of the people who live in the apartment where Siwan lives, "With his appearance, which embodies the epitome of 'handsome,' and his ability to express a wide range of emotions through acting, Lee Dong Wook was deemed the perfect fit for the role of the dentist Seo Moon Jo," the production team said.
"We have high hopes for Lee Dong Wook who will show off a new side of himself by participating in a genre that is different from his previous works," their statement added.
The Hallyu star has starred in hit dramas such as "My Girl," "Goblin," and most recently, "Touch Your Heart."
Earlier this May, it has also been confirmed that rookie actress Kim Ji Eun will be taking on the female lead role of the said project -- which is the girlfriend of Siwan's character.
Ji Eun has appeared in different dramas including "Children of Nobody" and "Lovely Horribly."
"Strangers From Hell," will be aired on OCN in the second half of the year. It will be directed by Lee Chang Hee ("The Vanished," "The 40,000 Blows," "The Hideout") and Jung Yi Do ("Save Me").
The anticipated drama is a TV series adaptation of a popular webtoon of the same title.
