TWICE To Release Second Japanese Full Album in November

It was reported that the girl group will release a new Japanese full album called "&TWICE" on November 20. It is said to consist of a total of ten track counting the title song "Fake & True," as well as the girls' summer Japanese songs "Happy Happy" and "Breakthrough."

In addition, "&TWICE" will come in four unique versions including the regular edition, first press limited editions A and B, and a limited edition version for ONCE Japan members.

"&TWICE" is TWICE's second Japanese studio album, following the group's BDZ which was released on September 12, 2018, and the third overall.

TWICE debuted in Japan with the compilation and first Japanese album called "#TWICE" on June 28, 2017. It consists of ten tracks including both the Korean and Japanese versions of "Like Ooh-Ahh," "Cheer Up," and "TT."

The album achieved several milestones - ranking second on the Oricon Daily Album Chart then became number one later on; peaked at number 2 spot on Oricon Weekly Album Chart having the highest first-week album sales among K-Pop artists in Japan; became a second place on Billboard Japan Hot Albums, and many more.

On top of that, the album exceeded 200,000 unit sales in less than a month, then sold more than 260,000 copies, later on, receiving a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

Even TWICE's first studio album "BDZ" earned such certification, becoming the group's fifth platinum certification, following Japanese singles "One More Time," "Candy Pop," "Wake Me Up," and "#TWICE." The album is said to sell over 292,300 copies in pre-orders.

The group's latest Japanese tracks are "Happy Happy" and "Breakthrough," launched on July 17 and July 24, 2019, respectively. The songs both attained a platinum certification more or less than a month after its release, having been able to sell more than 250,000 copies.

On another news, TWICE is also confirmed to make a comeback this September in Korea. The group's agency JYP Entertainment stated that the girls are preparing for a new album, and aim to return in late September. Their recent Korean song is "Fancy," released on April 22, from their seventh extended play "Fancy You."

Also, TWICE has just finished its TWICELIGHTS tour in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last August 17. They will be continuing their world tour on October 23, 2019, until February 22, 2020, starting with a concert in Hokkaido, Japan and ends in Shizuoka.
