Red Velvet's Joy talked about her friendship with models Irene Kim and Jang Yoon Joo.
Joy started the talk and said, "I'm close with Irene and Jang Yoon Joo." Then Jang Yoon Joo stated, "I'm very close with Joy. I participated in a travel program called 'Pajama Friends' with Joy, and she really liked me. Joy is a cheerful person who has a lot of stories she wants to share, but she had been stopping herself and only limited to what she can express since she's an idol. That had made her feel heavy inside, but she felt refreshed by how I would say what's on my mind to her."
Seo Jang Hoon commented, "Joy must have felt relieved a lot of her inner rage. When she participated in the show last time, she was outraged." Joy responded, "I want to say sorry. That was before I become friends with these two, so I couldn't control my temper and had a lot of rage inside of me. I'm sorry Jang Hoon."
Joy and Jang Hoon then hugged each other, and Kang Ho Dong said, "I think Joy slightly changed after meeting Jang Yoon Joo. Joy was the first one to come forward with her arms open to settling the misunderstandings. It's not easy to change your image as it needs lots of courage."
Jang Yoon Joo then admitted she was surprised to see Joy so sexy just wearing white t-shirt and jeans. And told Joy the words, 'Boldly show your sexiness, and you will shine more.' Joy said that was the first time someone said something like that to her.
Irene Kim joined the conversation and said, "Her style changed a lot," and Joy agreed by replying, "That's right. After meeting these two, I thought about it many times. I began thinking more about beauty and fashion, and I believe I've changed." Then Seo Jang Hoon complimented Joy by saying, "I think you've absolutely changed. Compared to last time you were here, your vibe is different."
Many people see Joy as one of the Red Velvet members who have poor attitudes, but considering what her friend Jang Yoon Joo said, it appears like Joy has been smiling outside but crying and angry inside. But thanks to her friends, Joy has improved and feels much better now.
Meanwhile, girl group Red Velvet had a recent comeback with their seventh extended play called "The ReVe Festival: Day 2" with its title track "Umpah Umpah" on August 20.
