Fin.K.L Unveils the Title of Their New Single

Fin.K.L has shared the title of their upcoming song.

An album cover was also revealed, which is an illustration of the four ladies surrounding a campfire under a starry night sky. The image appears to show the memorable times of the group from their JTBC reality program called "Camping Club."

On the September 8 episode of the said show, the girl group gathered inside a practice room and met up with singer-songwriter Kim Hyun Chul. The assembly was to ask Hyun Chul special favor, as a long-term friend of Fin.K.L member Lee Hyori, and that favor was to compose a new single for them. As soon as the song gets finished, it will be the group's first release after fourteen years.

Fin.K.L is a quartet under DSP Media which made its debut in 1998 with its first album called "Blue Rain." The group was known for their R&B ballads, which is opposed to SM Entertainment's artists that time - S.E.S and H.O.T. - who are more into cute and catchy music.

In 1999, Fin.K.L released two albums, first is "White" that consists of two songs "Everlasting Love" and "Pride,' and the second is a "half" album comprising of two tracks titled "To My Prince" and "S.P.E.C.I.A.L." With these two collections, Fin.K.L won a 'Daesang' award at the end of that year.

In the following years, the girls continued to launch new albums and singles until 2003 when they decided to part their ways, but not officially disbanding. They focused on their solo activities as singers and actresses. Fin.K.L returned at the end of 2005 as a group with the single "Fine Killing Liberty." Following that, the ladies returned to their individual promotions.

In 2006, all of Fin.K.L members departed from DSP Media and joined different agencies but not officially breaking up as a group. This May 2019, the girls gathered and celebrated their 21st debut anniversary, and was also confirmed to make a reunion variety show, which is the "Camping Club."

Meanwhile, "Just Like The Song That Remains" is set for release on September 22 at 6 p.m. KST.
