TWICE's Tzuyu Ranks No. 1 On A Poll For Favorite Taiwanese Beauty

In January this year, TWICE's Tzuyu was announced as the second in TC Candler's list of "The 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2018." It's an understatement to say that she can instantly capture someone with her pretty face because apart from that list, she ranked No. 1 in the recent poll for favorite Taiwanese beauty.

The six women, aside from the TWICE member, include singer Jolin Tsai, actress Ariel Lin, model Lin Chi-ling, actress Rainie Yang, and singer A-Mei.

As most of these citizens chose Tzuyu, and it's because of the idol's beautiful face - she isn't the second in TC Candler's list for nothing - as well as her girl-next-door vibe and sense of congeniality. Surprisingly, Lin Chi-ling who's dubbed as "Taiwan's Top Beauty," ranked last in the poll.

Meanwhile, Tzuyu was not the only TWICE member who was nominated on "The 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2018." Nayeon ranked 82nd, Jeongyeon ranked 66th, whilst Sana was 46th.

Apart from their group, members of BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, MOMOLAND, MAMAMOO, and Girls' Generation also made it to the nominated list. The notable ones were BLACKPINK's Jennie, Red Velvet's Irene, Suzy, and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.

In the end, it was the French model Thylane Blondeau who ruled.

In other news, TWICE appeared in a new TV advertisement for the Coca-Cola brand Qoo. In accordance with the Halloween special, the girls dressed themselves up in their Halloween costumes and took part in a "haropa" or Halloween party. In addition, the song that was used for the commercial was TWICE's Japanese single "Happy Happy."

The nine ladies - Momo, Mina, Tzuyu, Nayeon, Chaeyeong, Jeongyeon, Sana, Dahyun, and Jihyo - can be seen smiling brightly in a room adorned with Halloween decors, hinting an exciting and thrilling party.

This is also in relation to the brand's 20th anniversary. TWICE has been a supporter since April this year, and they will not only appear in a TVC but also on the bottles, called the "Qoo & TWICE Halloween Limited-Time Collaboration Bottles," and different other campaigns regarding the drink. The bottles have 27 types, equating to nine members with three flavors each.

The Japanese broadcast of the ad "Let's Halloween," the collaboration bottles, and the digital campaigns began on September 9th.
