Lee Hyori became emotional after a fan apologized to her on the latest episode of JTBC's "Camping Club."
During the concert, the group opened up about their most memorable fans, and Lee Hyori chose a fan who cursed at her through an online message. She confessed, "I admit I was wrong at that time. This is the right moment of apology between me and my fan."
The fan who Hyori is referring to actually attended the event and detailed, "The fans were patiently waiting for her, but she just passed by, and I was so sad." "After I sent her a message, I suddenly felt like I have caused pain to someone I admire. I wanted to say sorry, but there was no chance to meet her. I wanted to apologize."
Because of that, Lee Hyori burst into tears and stated, "She is a long-term fan. She is a fan who would always come to see me, so I was so upset. It is no importance if an anti-fan curses at me, but I got hurt knowing that it was from a fan who I expected would always understand me."
Lee Hyori and the fan then hugged each other to relieve their past misunderstanding. As her way of saying sorry to her fans for what happened, she gifted them with a song titled "To You" by Kang Ah Sol.
The concert was the first of Fin.K.L after 14 years of a break as a group. The event was full of tears from fans as they have long awaited their idols' reunion. The ladies even performed their most recent track called "Just Like The Song That Remains," which was launched on the same day of the show.
Fin.K.L is currently starring in their own variety show "Camping Club," which premiered on July 14 this year. The program will present the members traveling around Korea together while they freely express their thoughts and feelings. Also, the girl group will decide about whether or not they would make a 21st debut-anniversary performance.
"Camping Club" airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. KST.
Fin.K.L debuted in 1998 with the single "Blue Rain." They started to go on hiatus in 2003 to focus on their solo activities as singers and actresses. "Just Like The Song That Remains" is their first release in 14 years since their digital single "Fine Killing Liberty" in 2005.
