On Thursday, October 17, Victoria shared a throwback photo of f(x) during their debut days when Sulli was still a part of the group. She wrote, "Sulli~The weather is nice today. Goodbye~I won't forget you. I love you..."
Sources said that Victoria was in the middle of filming a drama when the tragic news reached her, making her burst into tears on the set and that she immediately booked a flight to Seoul. Further, rumor has it that she was seen crying on the plane before landing at Incheon airport.
Krystal, on the other hand, according to tidbits, has been busy assisting at Sulli's funeral for three days in a row, which explains why she hasn't posted anything on her SNS.
What was even heartbreaking was the remaining members meeting up in their former member's wake. There are hearsays saying that the four of them - Victoria, Amber, Luna, and Krystal - were spotted in tears altogether and this is certainly the kind of reunion no one ever wished.
Amidst the pain that f(x) and MeUs are going through right now, Victoria, being the leader herself, decided to tell off the online users who accused them of not being hurt enough or lacking any care towards the passing of a dear friend.
"Since when have Weibo, WeChat, and Instagram become the rulers? The rulers by which we measure ethics, people's relationships, emotions, anything that people wish to measure. A public platform is a place where you can share things with others. When did it become a place to put on a show? You can post if you want, and if you don't want to, you don't have to. There is no empathy, just yourself," Victoria wrote on her Weibo.
"If you want to see a show, then shout. If you want to create rumors, keep at it. I'm not extraordinary. I just want to live my life more grounded in reality than the people leaving comments," she added.
The idol-actress continued, "Don't speculate. If you have time to come up with a story, what do you think about spending that time doing something more meaningful? Please don't let [commenting and social media] become your life. You can't find your identity in a world that's made up of falsehoods. People need to take walks through reality. Please don't waste your time."
She concluded, "Please don't tell others what they need to do with their lives. Even well-intentioned advice has its boundaries. Don't overstep. What right do you have to tell a stranger to do this, or don't do that, when your own life is a wreck? Everyone's life is different and unique. Who has the right to tell someone else how to live? Focus on your own life. Live in the present. If you live with a kind heart, that is enough."
