Previously, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency conducted a search and seizure inspection on YG Entertainment's bank accounts and found out that there were money transfers that took place. However, it was not enough to prove the crime against Yang Hyun Suk. In addition, even if there was a piece of evidence that attest Yang Hyun Suk has spoken to the investors from Southeast Asia, the police discovered no proof that has something to do with prostitution.
On November 25, some legal sources said that the Division of Crimes Against Women & Children of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office ceased the accusation of Yang Hyun Suk last September 30 in relation to the prostitution case. Also, it is said that the prosecutors also postponed the charge of the other individuals associated with the suspicions, and two of those is Madam Jung and a rich investor "A."
The investor is said to have been entertained by women at entertainment establishments who were arranged by Yang Hyun Suk last October of 2014. Before the prosecution, the police conducted studies on the financial transaction statements, phone records, and testimonies of the women who were doing the prostitution services. After examining, they couldn't find solid evidence of illegal entertainment.
Furthermore, the police have slightly verified the sexual relationship between 'A' and women at an adult entertainment place outside of Korea, but also failed to find particular records or proof that will confirm the hypothesis. In connection to this, it was too hard for them to say that Yang Hyun Suk is guilty of paying those women.
Meanwhile, Yang Hyun Suk has already carried out police questioning with regard to the claims that he has threatened a specific person to change her testimony about former iKON member B.I purchasing and ingesting drugs back in 2016. Besides that, Yang Hyun Suk and former BIGBANG member Seungri were forwarded to the prosecution on allegations of gambling.
Yang Hyun Suk established YG Entertainment in 1996 and has successfully debuted many solo artists and K-Pop groups. But because of the controversies surrounding him and the other YG singers, Hyun Suk decided to resign from his positions at the agency this past June. Until recently, Yang Hyun Suk was spotted entering the YG Entertainment building as well as the YG artists, which left the fans curious as to what could be the possible reason for the YG celebrities meeting up with Yang Hyun Suk.
