Ailee will be promoting overseas soon!
Ailee also shared that she will be taking her promotions as a singer out of Korea. She stated, "I'm making preparations to hit the U.S. market. The U.S. manager of Rocket3 Entertainment paid a visit, and they will be looking after me from this day forward. I have been preparing for such a long time now."
The singer is currently under Rocket3 Entertainment since she signed an exclusive with the agency in September of this year after parting ways with former label YMC Entertainment.
Ailee went on and said that she would be having a show before flying to the United States. She noted, "I will hold a concert tour prior to my departure so that my fans in Korea won't feel upset about me leaving." "It will kick off on December 7," she added.
The soloist's Korea tour will be called "I AM : RE-BORN," which will start with a concert in Incheon on December 7, next is Gwangju, Suwon, Daegu, and then Sungnam, Daejeon, and last is in Busan.
Ailee is one of the most well-known and successful female solo artists in the K-pop industry. She started her music career when she was still a teen after joining an independent agency in New York City and New Jersey, Muzo Entertainment. At a very young age, Ailee already began collaborating with several artists like Johnnyphlo and rapper Decipher. She even created her own YouTube channels, in which she uploads her cover songs.
The idol only moved to South Korea in 2010, when she auditioned and recruited for YMC Entertainment. While she was still a trainee, Ailee already received different activities like working with lots of singers, performing at an event, and joining the contest "Singer and Trainee," where she won first place.
Ailee's solo debut was in February 2012 with the track "Heaven." One month after, she competed in KBS's "Immortal Songs 2," where she impressed the judges with her incredibly fantastic voice. One judge even said that Ailee would be the next great singer. In that same year, she got her very first music-show award with her "I'll Show You," and received awards such as "Best New Artist," "New Female Solo Artist," and "Mnet America Rising Star Award."
Furthermore, Ailee is known for singing plenty of original soundtracks for Korean dramas. She has sung "Love Note" for Full House Take 2, "Tears Stole the Heart" for Secret Love, "Goodbye My Love" for You Are My Destiny, "I Will Go to You Like the First Snow" for Goblin, and many more! Fans even dubbed her as the new "OST Queen."
The thought about Ailee taking her music promotions in the U.S. is what most people would expect since she grew up in the United States and has already released an American debut track in January 2017, called "Fall Back" through a new agency, WestSide Entertainment. Under WestSide Entertainment, Ailee is known as A.Leean.
