Since CL has left YG Entertainment, the singer hasn't said anything personal in regards to the decision. However, CL has posted a photo Instagram today, December 2, with a heartwarming caption that somehow explains her decision of leaving YGE.
The caption was originally in Korean, here is the translated version:
"I run even before I learned how to walk, I didn't know how to rest, the past 13 years, all these accomplishments, all these emotions, they have taught me a lot.
I lived as the CL who has always shared a part of herself to everyone, and I was happy to share my life with all my fans, all the love that you have given me has renewed me.
Like my 13-year-old self, I remember what my grandmother has told me, she has given me power and confidence.
I will no longer wait for someone to choose me, I will go back to the old me who can solve her problems by her own, one by one.
All this time, all the memories, the emotions, I am happy and excited. I want to share it with all of you and to every CL in the world.
In the name of love, CL."
Chae-rin or most commonly known as CL, is working on a solo comeback. The full-length soon-to-be-released album is entitled "In The Name of Love."
