SuperM has entered the U.S. Billboard's main chart for nine consecutive weeks. SuperM, a pop supergroup formed under SM Entertainment, in partnership with U.S. Capitol Music Group (CMG).

Seven members formed the group which was taken from various and popular SM Entertainment boy groups, including Taemin from SHINee, Baekhyun, and Kai from EXO, Taeyong, and Mark from NCT 127, and Ten and Lucas from WayV, calling it the "Avengers". They started their full-scale performance activities in November, and their debut album has stayed in the main Billboard chart for nine consecutive weeks.

Their album 'SuperM' debuted on the first spot at the Billboard 200 albums chart, with 168,000 album units in the week ending October 10. As this is their self-titled debut album that was released on October 4 this year, it ranked 129th on the Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200," up to 39 spots from last week, marking the ninth consecutive week of staying on the World Albums chart. And in South Korea, the EP debuted at 3rd place on Gaon Weekly Albums Chart and sold 153,590 copies in just one day of tracking.

This album features five new songs that feature the synergy of SuperM's seven members, including the title track "Jopping," "I Can't Stand The Rain," "2 Fast," "Super Car" and "No Manners." The CD version of this EP has eight different versions, one of each special edition is assigned for each member and a "united" version.

Hyundai Motor Securities Co. raised its target stock price for SM Entertainment, reflecting expectations for SuperM, which topped the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, as it became an increase in its earnings outlook for this year. "We are looking forward to a new global top star SuperM, which ranked No. 200 on Billboard," said Yoo Seong-man, a researcher from Hyundai Motor Securities on Wednesday. "We expect that AM will achieve growth in its performance due to strong sales of albums and increased concerts at home and abroad."

It is predicted that their performance will grow in the second half of this year due to strong sales of albums and increased concerts at home and abroad. "The strong sales of albums such as EXO's Sehun and Chanyeol Unit, Baekhyun Solo, NCT Dream, and Red Velvet will exceed 1.4 million copies," Yoo said. "The domestic and overseas performances will reflect the performances of EXO and HOT, and also with SM TOWN and EXO's arena." It is predicted that about 300,000 Japanese people will be counted.

Principal subsidiaries such as SM Culture & Contents and Keyeast Entertainment are also expecting to continue their surplus streak in the industry. As Yoo Seong-man said, "SM C&C will continue to receive orders for advertisements in the third quarter and continue to post a surplus." "Keyeast also expected to make a small surplus as its first series is reflected in its performance."

Meanwhile, on this week's Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, the title track of EXO's sixth full-length album "Obsession" grabbed the top spot in the charts, which shows attention to the public.
