On recent photos and videos of the solo performer SUNMI that were circulating through different online communities, the idol was receiving too much attention after netizens noticed her undeniable bigger boobs.
In the photos and videos, SUNMI was wearing a GUCCI sleeveless shirt, and while performing, there was a water effect causing her to be splashed by it and exposing her cleavage. Netizens who have seen this then created a rumor of SUNMI, undergoing chest surgeries.
Although this issue is not new, for three months ago, SUNMI, through her twitter account with username @miyaohyeah, denied this allegation.
She says, "I didn't get a boob job, HUMANS!" and to tease and annoy her haters, she added, "Well, I would have bigger if I wanted to.LOL"
The 'plastic surgery' controversy then arises once again, after SUNMI posted on her Instagram story on December 18, a screenshot is taken from the Korean news portal, Naver, wherein after searching her name on the search bar, the portal suggested the keywords, "Sunmi boob job" and "Sunmi breast surgery."
She then again dealt with it by confirming that she did NOT undergo any boob job and claimed that the reason for her bigger boobs is that because she gained weight.
Sunmi recently talked about gaining weight for about eight (8) kilograms after the changes regarding her eating habits, her diet, and her physical workouts.
Through this, SUNMI is expecting that this will cause her haters and bashers to stop creating malicious content and comments about her body.
Meanwhile, fans and supporters of SUNMI expressed their anger and defended her through comments for netizens spreading this false issue. Fans then said that it's SUNMI's body so she can do what she wants, and doing plastic surgery shouldn't be a big deal.
On the other hand, SUNMI, former member of the world biggest k-pop star "Wonder Girls" of the first generation who cross the boundaries along international market through their "Nobody" track, is also known as an advocate, or one of those few Korean female stars who isn't scared to stand for women.
