Due to the new rules and government set by South Korea, all men can no longer delay their enlistment until the age of 30s. Meaning to say, when a male citizen reaches the age of 28, they are required to enroll for enlistment, even your Korean idols.

Unfortunately, the exemption is not given to Korean idols, so they have to comply with the two year-service for their country.

In this matter, here are some of the 91's to 92's liner that is set to have their enlistment this 2020.

1. EXO's Suho, CHEN, Chanyeol, and Baekhyun

While Xiumin and D.O were currently serving in the military, another four members are possible to have their enlistment next year. Suho, which is born on May 22, 1991, will be turning 29 (international age) next year and has to enroll for enlistment as well as for Chen, Chanyeol, and Baekhyun, who was turning 28 next year. However, they can delay their enlistment date until 2021.

If these members were to enlist, Kai and Sehun will remain and have to enlist until 2023, as Lay doesn't have to for he is Chinese. 2024-2025 is the whole group's possible reunion.

2. BTS Jin

Though exemption for this group was discussed, it was rejected, and BTS has to comply with the enlisting rules. This 2020, BTS member Kim Seokjin or popularly known as Jin, will have to face his enlistment, leaving his other six members group. Meanwhile, after his return, Yoongi will have to enter the military in 2022, followed by Namjoon and Hoseok in 2023 and Jimin and Taehyung in 2024, and lastly, Jungkook in 2026. A possible time for them to have a complete member reunion is between 2027-2028.

3.VIXX Ken

After VIXX's Leo's and N announcement about their enlistment, VIXX Ken will be having his enlistment as well, making him the third member to enter the military.

4. MONSTA X Shownu

Despite the relatively close age gap of the group's members, Shownu being the oldest member of Monsta X will be the one to start their enlistment this upcoming year, possibly.

5. WINNER Lee Seung Hoon

Next year, Lee Seung Hoon will be turning 28 years old in January, and to comply with the rule, he might also enlist. However, Kim Jin Woo, their oldest member who was supposed to enter the military this year, was delayed, so he has to join the military as well.

6. ZICO

Zico, who is marking his way through k-pop, has to enlist as well this 2020.

Here are some of the idols that were set to enlist this 2020; some of these idols can delay their enlistment until early 2021, but 91's liner should have to enlist already.

Meanwhile, this might be heartbreak for some, fans and supporters of these idols were for sure, always willing to wait for them and to reunite with their other members even if it would take years.
