On December 29, the girl group had a fan signing event for "Psycho." During the event, the group let the fans know about Wendy's current status. They said, "Wendy has seen the trending posts on Twitter. She appreciates all the tweets and wishes you sent her way. Right now, it's still hard for her to move her jaw, that's why she's not allowed to eat anything but eggs and bean curd stew. However, Wendy has always had a bright and positive personality so she's asking everyone not to worry about her as she will be okay."
They continued, "To be honest, before we went here, we were kind of worried about receiving questions associated with Wendy's injury, but we decided to let you guys know since we also know deep down how much you care about us. The accident was unfortunate and we were angry, but we're happy that a lot of people helped us. For the mean time, the group will continue with our scheduled activities without Wendy. We'll be taking over her part for a while. We hope you understand. We're truly sorry. Wendy will be back soon, healthy and happy!"
