On January 6th, the member of the Korean girl group TWICE Momo breaks her silence after her dating news with Super Junior's Heechul sparks. On this day, a handwritten letter was shared to the public, that was dedicated to the fans and supporter of the female idol, especially to ONCEs.
Since January 1st, Momo remained silent amidst the rumor of her relationship with Heechul until the next day, January 2nd, and both agencies confirmed that they are meeting each other "with favorable feelings for each other."
Following the news, Heechul has then put on hold his planned schedules for 2020, alongside with his Youtube Channel, #Heetube.
Meanwhile, Momo who was seen multiple times for Music shows, as well as the recent Golden Disk Awards, revealed her letter, and here's the rough translation of her message:
"ONCE! This is Momo. There are many things that I wanted to tell ONCE, so I've come up with writing this letter. I am hoping that I'll be able to say what I want to say."
Momo then greeted her fans for celebrating her and the group's 5th New Year with their fans and stated that it still felt short despite being together for that long. The female idol also reminisces about the memories she had with ONCE and her urge to continue making memories this year.
"In each year, different memories were created with ONCE, and for this year 2020, I am hoping to give more happiness and memories more than the past years, as well as to communicate well with fans."
She then extends her apology for bringing fans surprising news for the start of the year, which made her skeptic about writing the letter, for it might cause more pain for the fans. Momo even taught of doing nothing, and as she was contemplating, she ended up doing her way to communicate with fans through this letter.
The female idol shared in her message that ever since she was young, she was aware of her passion for singing, dancing that made her into being a singer and a celebrity.
And she would've not made it without TWICE and ONCEs.
"You're always my strength. I am always proud of you and you are so special to me. I don't know if this is coming across well, but I hope my sincerity to you comes of at least a little.", Momo expressed her inner feelings for TWICE.
Lastly, she ended her letter by thanking her fans, as well as saying sorry for being annoying some times, and even reminded everyone had a hard time, though they will always make sure to bring great joy.
