It has been confirmed that Chanyeol, whose real name is Park Chanyeol, who started to become a "building owner" since last year, has recently purchased a "little building," located near a super duty-free book at Lee Dae Station on Subway Line No. 2 and located in proximity to Ewha Woman's University Station in Seoul.

Chanyeol, in particular, offered at about 1.8 billion won, or 80 percent of the building's value, in cash at the time of the purchase, showing the possibility of a "big hand" in real estate.

According to the court, Chanyeol bought a 128.8 square-meter underground building in Yeomni-dong, Mapo-Gu, in mid-August last year under his name. The building, which is used for the second kind of neighborhood living facility, is currently used as a general office on all floors.

At the time of purchase, the price was at 2.27 billion Won, and the sale price per 3.3 square meters (based on the land area) was 58 million won. Chanyeol injected 500 million Won in loans with the building as collateral, and the remaining 1.77 billion Won paid in full cash.

Chanyeol previously appeared on MBC's "Radio Star" and JTBC's "Knowing Brothers" programs last month and said, "I became an owner of a building I recently bought, and I think my heart sank." With this statement, it had reached making headlines.

According to Bilsanam, which is a well-known building brokerage firm, Chanyeol's building is located in the corner of Sinchon District Street, which offers excellent visibility and accessibility, and consists of a combination of two-generation food stamps, residential and office shops and a complex of shops specialized for academics.

In particular, the site is considered to be a place where land prices are expected to rise as a redevelopment of Ahyun New Town Area 2 is underway right behind Chanyeol's building. "If the five-story building on the side of the road is 2.2 billion Won, it can be a relatively small-scale investment, and it seems to have been purchased because it is worth expecting a rise in land prices due to nearby redevelopment issues," said Shin Jinseon, the president of the said building brokerage firm.

Following Chanyeol, Sehun, whose real name is Oh Sehun, who is also a member of the same group, even joined the list of building owners in a span of a month. In September last year, a month after Chanyeol bought the Mapo District building, Sehun purchased a six-story building in Sangdo Neighbourhood, Dongjak District, under his name.

It was purchased for 3.35 billion Won as a super-tax building in Sangdo Station, a subway line No. 7. Unlike Chanyeol, however, 1.8 billion won, or half of the price of the building, was found to have been bought with a loan. The building is considered to be a super duty-free building with a large floating population and low risk of vacancy due to its high visibility.
