Red Velvet's Wendy is still in the hospital even after a month has passed due to injuries and fractures she had received after being in a stage accident while rehearsing for SBS year-end show.

It has been reported initially that the female idol suffered from a traumatic experience after falling from a 2.5 meters high stage or approximately 8.2 feet, and this height can't be compared to a 6' feet basketball player.

Due to the accident, Wendy broke his cheeks, had facial scars, pelvic fractures, and wrist injuries. It is expected that the recovery of the female idol will take longer, as the parts of the body that was affected were sensitive and took time before healing. Fortunately, the head of the idol was not affected.

Meanwhile, SBS is currently having a thorough investigation of the incident, which caused trauma and fear to other idols as well when taking a step up the stage, the police are already involved in doing the internal investigation.

According to reports, on December 23, two days before Christmas and SBS Gayo Daejejun, Wendy was instructed to go up in a two-story tunnel, wherein there's a stair where she has to step on down while singing. However, the unfortunate event happens when the lift failed to rise when she was about to go down, which causes Wendy to lost her balance and fell down from the stage.

Korean fans and International fans haven't stopped seeking for justice, and finally, Korean police step in for investigations. If the police find a piece of concrete evidence that SBS faults within the accident, the broadcasting channel might face serious criminal charges.

This is regarding the fact that the staff didn't inform the female idol of the malfunctioning of the lift before it was too late. In addition to this, the tunnel was also dark, wherein moving is risky as there were also no guide or marks that can be seen from the tunnel.

A Blue House petition was already created with over 20,000 signatures, asking that SBS should be responsible for the safety of all artists, especially those who organized the event.

The accident investigation is under the charge of "Negligence causing grievous bodily harm."

On the other hand, the member of the female idol group, Red Velvet including Irene, Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri, has always been supporting the girls and doing their best continuing as a four-member group for now, while filling in for Wendy.

Joy recently shared during their concert that she has been keeping up with the ill member, and during their past conversation through text, Joy said how Wendy cheer her up and told her to do well in her stead. Due to this, she's been consistently reminded of this, and Joy can't help herself to be emotional.Joy can't hide her love and care for Wendy as she burst into tears, and she was immediately comforted by the other members.
