On the 30th of January 2020, the Central District Prosecutors Office of Seoul has indicted former YGE CEO Yang Hyun Suk, former BIGBANG member Seungri, famous musician Jonghun, and 8 other people on different charges related to the infamous "Burning Sun" scandal. However, they were not given any jail time.
Seungri was charged with gambling, mediating prostitution, and for violating the foreign exchange transactions act, while Jonghun was charged for the crime of bribing an official.
