On the 18th of February, the international fashion and women's magazine Cosmopolitan released Nayeon's Hawaii photo collection for their March issue. Fans and net zines then can't get enough of her perfect visuals featuring her different sides.
On the photos that were unveiled, Nayeon showcased several charms including sexiness, delicateness, femininity, and gorgeousness on top of that. In her first photo, Nayeon showed off her slim body wearing a black sleeveless dress, emphasizing her long legs. On her other picture, the female idol transforms into a blossoming flower while lying on the green grass, exuding a refreshing vibe. In addition to this, Nayeon also becomes a carefree career woman, wearing a suit exquisitely.
Moreover, her blue get-up on her fourth photo was as serene as the blue sky, showing Nayeon's angelic side.
In the interview section of the female idol for the magazine, Nayeon shared her thoughts and feelings as a member of the 'nation's girl group' TWICE, as well as for their 2019 World Tour. (translation provided by @misayeon)
Nayeon expressed that 2019 was the most comfortable year her since debut, making memories from their world tour.
"I met fans from all over the places, all over the world, and sometimes the cheers were so loud to the point I couldn't hear my own voice even with my in-ears on. It was amazing and touching to realize the popularity of Kpop all over the world."
When asked if who is her closest member, Nayeon smoothly answered the question by saying, "The eight members are my soulmate."
She explained that Momo is the member that she spends most of her time, while Chaeyoung is the person she can lean on despite their age gap. She also said that though Jeongyeon and her had contrasting personalities, they are the proof of "opposite attracts" for they can get along really well with each other.
Furthermore, when asked if what does 'TWICE member' mean to her, Nayeon answered,
"After being together for years, they have become the 'reason for a lot of things' to me. We are tightly held together, that it affects me in every aspect. Even if it's hard, with the members, there's nothing I can't do."
Meanwhile, Nayeon revealed that her greatest plan for this year is waking up in the morning without setting an alarm clock, looking at the sea, and covering songs.
"I dream of a holiday wherein I don't have to set an alarm clock when waking up. Also, I want to go to the sea and look at it without any plan. [...] I want to overcome my fear of singing a song alone."
On the other hand, Nayeon shared her thoughts about being an idol and being positive as the years goes by,
"I think impromptu personality is a disadvantage." "There aren't always good things happen, so I've done things badly, and sometimes it collapses unexpectedly, but I am not too worried. I always think that it will then pass."
