DreamCatcher made it to the top! On February 18, DreamCatcher released their first full-length album "Dystopia: The Tree of Language."
The latest album dominated the iTunes charts in eight countries including Argentina, Ecuador, Latvia, Malaysia, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, and Vietnam.
Not only did the album reached those countries but it was also included in Top 10 iTunes album charts in 25 regions such as Austria, Canada, Russia, Australia, Germany, Spain and more.
DreamCatcher will do their promotions through Mnet's M Countdown this coming February 20.
In an interview, DreamCatchers discussed the concept of their album "Dystopia: The tree of Language" to be all about their appreciation to all the people who have given their full support and love to their group and career, a payback token for gratitude as what they call it.
Before dropping their album, they have recently talked to their fans through V App and received a lot of love and support.
They also mentioned that the only disadvantage of meeting their fans that way is their exposure to mischievous comments which they are aware of.
Member JiU said in a quote that "The fans are really good about reporting malicious comments. I gain a lot of strength knowing that all of them were on our side."
Dreamcatcher is South Korean girl group under Happy Face Entertainment, the group consists of seven members starting with Jiu, Sua, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon. The group originally debuted on January 13, 2017, with their single album Nightmare.
Moreover their title track "Scream" made positive results on domestic real-time music charts achieving No. 6 on Bugs, No. 30 on Genie, and No. 38 on Soribada. Making 11 tracks out of 14 from their album reach the top 100 on Bugs.
