BLACKPINK's March Comeback Has Been Postponed Due To Coronavirus Threat

Blackpink's comeback has reportedly been delayed due to coronavirus outbreak! Investor reports say that BLACKPINK's March comeback has been postponed due to COVID-19.

It was in January when their agency YG Entertainment confirmed that the famous girl group BLACKPINK would be making a comeback this year between March and April. The comeback will be followed by another world tour on top of the successful "In Your Area" concerts.

Earlier this month, February, Yang Hyun Suk did confirm that BLACKPINK will be having their comeback along with a new mini-album this March.

As weeks passed by BLINKs cannot contain their excitement and started to make theories on when will the teasers would come out.

New updates from their investors made an announcement that the March comeback of the BLACKPINK is postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in South Korea. It has been reported that on February 26, 5 P.M KST there are currently 1,261 confirmed cases of coronavirus that continue to arise every day.

The comeback of BLACKPINK is just one of the majority of KPOP Evens that has been postponed for public safety. Recently The Rose's comeback has also been delayed along with the promotional activities, conference, and fan signs. The catastrophe that hit South Korea is delaying album production and shipments.

BLINKs agreed that prevention is better than a cure. Fans now are thinking whether YG Entertainment did plan for BLACKPINK's come back in March at all, after announcing WINNER's March comeback, fans were confused about how this comeback would affect their plans for BLACKPINK.

Due to the unfortunate event, BLINKs are asking if when will the comeback be announced again. Management said that it will still be within the first half-year or by the end of June. However, BLINKs are not happy and that according to them the time frame cannot be trusted anymore.

YG Entertainment said that they will repay the BLINKs patience for waiting with good music and news, though they are not yet certain about the exact date they are also expecting that it would be this first half of the year.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK did release its 2020 Welcoming Collection that features the members in each of the four seasons. Their photo book is a package with a calendar designed by the members, stickers, a DVD and many more!

BLACKPINK's 2020 Welcoming Collection is available for pre-order starting February 26 and to be released on March 4.
