According to the latest update of Worldometers, a total of approximate 84,000 people are already affected by the new Corona Virus [COVID19] as of the 29th of February, with counts of less than 3,000 death cases around the world, with China as the most number of positive cases, followed by South Korea.

In this manner, people around the world were concerned about how to extend their help even through gestures such as donating face masks and some amount of money. In addition to this, K-pop idols are entering the scene as well, proving that they are not only present during the happy days, but as well as there during the tough days.

Here's the list of the Korean Celebrities and idols who made donations:

1. SUPER JUNIOR

Being the first group to donate, the "Hallyu Kings" made 10,000 donations of face masks to Community Chest of Korea meant especially for children and youth to avoid the risk of getting the virus.

2.ASTRO Cha Eunwoo

The male idol has donated worth of 30 Million Won that was given to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association on the last 26th of February.

3.former iKON's Hanbin

Also known as B.I, the singer-composer also gave away 100,000 of face masks for the netizens.

4. Girls' Day Hyeri

The female idol and personality made a total of 100 Million Won for the organization of Save the Children meant for the affected families in Daegu and emergency money which will be used to support their living.

5.Kim Yohan

The former X1 member is truly an angel after donating 10M Won to Hope Bridge as well.

6. SUNMI

Along with Eunwoo and Yohan, the singer also gave 10 Million won on the same charity.

7.BTS J-Hope and Suga

Midst the busy promotion for their recent comeback, the idols didn't forget to give back to the society by donating 1,640 face masks directly to North Gwangju. At the same time, Suga donated 100 Million won too Hope Bridge.

The sweet voice of the "Nation's little sister" comes along with a charming personality as she donated 100 Million amount of money for the charity of Good neighbours to support the infected people and their families and another 100 Million Won to the Korean Medical Association to help on curing the infected people, making it 200 Million Won in total.

9.NUEST

The K-pop band members became angels as well as they donated 50 Million Won.

10. GOT7 JB

The male idol donated 10 Million Won to Hope Bridge too.

11.Red Velvet

The "Princesses of K-pop" Yeri, Seulgi and Joy had pitched in 10 Million Won each and 100 Million Won for Irene that was sent to the Community Chest of Korea.

12.Kang Daniel

The former Wanna One member has sent his help through Hope Bridge, donating 50 Million Won.

13.Apink Naeun

The singer-actress sent 50 Million Won to Daegu's Community Chest of Korea.

14. TVXQ Yunho


"Emperor of K-pop" TVXQ member, Yunho, sent 30 Million Won as well to the same charity of Naeun and Red Velvet.

15.BlOCK B Zico

Zico donated 30 Million Won to the Daegu's Community Chest of Korea, too.

16.SNSD Yoona

Yoona donated 100 Million Won to Daegu Community Chest of Korea as well.


17.EXO's Chanyeol and Lay


The members of the global group EXO Chanyeol and Laysent 50 Million Won and 20 Million Won respectively for Hope Bridge.
