The late KPOP star, Goo Hara shocked the mob when she was announced dead in November 2019. However, recent news about her mother's claims of acquiring half of her wealth raised eyebrows of the many; including his brother. He then considers her maternal parent as a non-existent persona ever since. Goo Ho-In, revealed further details about why he considers their mother as an absentee person plus shared some of the most heartbreaking exchanges of messages between the siblings.
Their Mother's Abandonment
At the tender age of 9, Goo Hara's mother abandoned her along with her brother. The two experienced too many heartaches knowing that their father has to be constantly invisible in their presence for the sole reason of making the ends meet through working multiple jobs in entire Korea. There was no choice for the both; so, they have to live with their grandmother or aunts. Goo Ho-In revealed Hara's letter where she expressed her inconsolable sadness regarding her mother way back in 2016.
Goo Hara quoted it:
"The way I speak. The way I reflect. These become realities. I must defend myself first and know myself the best. I am aware of my sensitiveness and know myself best. I know that I acquire energy from myself and try to be happy and positive. I miss my mom. I really miss my mom. I swallow those feelings into my heart and can't spit them out but hold them. I hurt more than... no. It's ok to hurt. It's valid for me to hurt."
Goo Ho-In recounted:
"I remember when my mother left our house. I did not understand why. My father spoke to us that she probably wanted something and then made a sweeping choice. We barely recount him being taken away the ambulance. Hara and I were abandoned by our mother. That is the reason why Hara wanted to be loved. It grieves me that she is pretending to be her mother after she's gone. I hate that she utters she's her mother."
Goo Hara's Disruptive Mother at the Funeral
Both parents were present in the late KPOP idol's funeral; however, their mother was disruptive. She went beyond consulting lawyers and trying to puzzle out how she would be able to acquire Hara's possessions.

Hara: "I love you oppa! Do not worry."
Ho-In: "I know you must be lonely. My heart is feeling the same way too. Eat plenty of delicious food in Japan."
Goo Hara's death might be too untimely, and her brother might be mourning still. Goo Ho-In's statement against their mother would sound valid based on their personal experience. The late KPOP idol is known to have massive properties such as real estate belongings.
