Mother of JBJ95's member Kenta passed away on March 9 due to a chronic disease, confirmed by the idol's agency Star Road Entertainment.

On Tuesday, March 10, Kenta's agency sent their deepest condolences to the idol and his family through their social media accounts, informing the idol's fans and supporters as well about the unfortunate event.

Star Road then confirmed that Kenta took a flight to Japan the other day, and is now mourning with his family.

"Kenta took a plane earlier to share their grief with the family. Please understand that all of the funeral proceedings will be held privately according to the wishes of the bereaved family. Thank you," hoping that the netizens will not cause any disturbance during the proceedings.

"We are praying for the deceased's happiness and peace in the afterworld. We are hoping that from now on, everyone will keep on watching over Kenta warmly," added Star Road.

Meanwhile, Kenta Takada, 25, is a former trainee and is currently an active idol under Star Road Entertainment. In 2017, he joined the second season of Produce 101, the season wherein Wanna One was formed. However, he was eliminated in the 10th episode after ranking #24, not being able to join the boy group.

Nevertheless, with the fans wanting to form a group composed of the eliminated yet talented trainees, JBJ was formed under FAVE Entertainment and CJ E&M, and Kenta then participated in the idol group. Though it was disbanded later in 2018 due to contract expiration, he returned to his own agency afterward.

After his group disbandment, together with his current co-label and former member Sanggyun, the two debuted as actors and starred in the Korean web drama "Barefoot Diva."

After their successful tandem, they then debuted in JBJ95 as a duo, wherein Sanggyun left his agency Hunus Entertainment and signed under Star Road Entertainment to become a permanent group. JBJ95 name was formed following their former group's name, which is JBJ, and "95" then represents their birth year, 1995.

On the other hand, "Jjakkoong," or also as "Partner" when translated in English, the fandom of the K-pop duo is sending their warm regards and condolences then for the idol and his family through different platforms of social media.

Below are a few of the many heartwarming messages from Kenta's fans.

"You are known for being a smiling machine, but you can cry, Kenta. We are here for you."
