The youngest host of MBC's "Lose If You're Envious," Somi tells about her ideal boyfriend. She did not reserve herself from speaking up about her views on love and dating. The Korean Canadian soloist has something to say about heart talks. This is what she shared on the recently aired aforementioned show. What could be an ideal boyfriend for her?
While the hosts were witnessing a video of lovers Jisook (former Rainbow) and Lee Doo Hee, she aired her side on such topic.
She uttered, "I believe those who are ahead of me (seniors) who have publicly revealed their relationship are really something."
She opened up about being shy about dating but would like to date soon. However, she revealed that as a KPOP star, there are barriers when it comes to dating.
"There are a lot of obstacles to surpass to obtain a public affair. Hence, there still idols who dare to date in public and I admire them," she added.
Since the soloist and former member of I.O.I have turned 20, she is eager to start dating.
She bravely said, "I am 20 this year. I'm really fascinated about dating."

She hinted about what sort of guy she would love to date with. As quoted, "I'm also a sort of person who loves to commit on spontaneous plans, so I want a boyfriend who'll just follow me wherever I want to go somewhere."
Somi even clued that the possible love interest in her real-life would get engage with 1000 things in her bucket list of the things-do-to with her boyfriend.
Being the winner of "Producer 101," Somi is naturally competitive about things. The former center of I.O.I definitely knows what she wants in life and that would include dating.
Somi Was Dumped by a Guy
Needless to say, Somi has a gorgeous face and tons of boys would go after her. Hence, when she once revealed that she was dumped by a guy she dated for a week in middle school, everybody just could not believe it. This revelation was made in 2017 in of the episodes of "Sister's Slam Dunk Season 2," where out of curiosity, she was asked about her dating history.
It turned out that she was rejected because she believed she did not properly express her emotions. The said boy dated her best friend later.
In the recent MBC's "Lose If You're Envious" episode where Somi tells about her ideal boyfriend, this only shows that KPOP idols are just like normal girls who somehow desires for love and certainly looks forward to date someone.
