A 41-year-old woman who is an active member of the controversial Shincheonji cult has been found dead by the police after jumping off to her death from the 11th floor of her apartment.

The woman who has not been identified by the police has been actively being monitored by them for suspected Coronavirus infection. Reports stated that the woman was included in the list of the active members of the Shincheonji cult, and have recently done two rounds of tests for coronavirus infection. The results were all negative.

Jeollabuk-do released their official statement about the unfortunate incident that happened to the woman.

"She is an active member of the Shinecheonji cult and therefore included in the list of people who are suspected to be carrying the coronavirus infection. We have her tested and the result was negative. Until then, she is still under active monitoring until on the 13th."

The Jeongeup police are puzzled and currently trying to comprehend that to what extent reason that she decided to end her life.

It was on February 26 when Jeonbuk-do circulated an administrative order to close all the Shincheonji amenities and restrain the cult from holding any conferences.

This order is under the Infectious Disease Prevention Act of the 13,270 cult members who are under the religion of Shincheonji specifically in the Jeollabuk-do region. 51 of these members did not answer phone calls.

In addition to the cooperation, the whole town decided to work with the authorities to prevent the infection from spreading in their location.

It has been reported that 530 members of the Shincheonji cult in Jeonbuk Province have been confirmed to be having the symptoms of COVID-19. When tested, 1 resulted to be positive, and 502 tested negative.

Recent reports about the Shincheonji cult have been the hottest topic in the media as of 2020 in South Korea.

A lot of allegations have circulated the social media and the news about the alleged active members of the Shinecheonji cult including the K-pop celebrities such as Lee Dong-Wook, Yoo Jae-suk, Jung Hyung-don, Nam Gyu Ri, Chung Ha, Ivy, Gummy and many more.

The K-pop celebrities along with their agencies are all fighting back and have strongly denied the allegations being thrown at them being an active member of the Shincheonji cult.

Their respective agencies started taking legal actions by suing people who are reportedly spreading fake news and malicious comments about their artists.

South Korea now has the second-highest number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide.

Shincheonji pastor Lee Man-hee has reportedly sent a message through a communication application to other active members that the infection referring to the Coronavirus is a disease that is made by the devil to test their faith.

Reports have recently made it to the headlines, as the respective Mayor of Seoul, would take legal actions against the leader of the cult Lee Man-Hee.
