Gaon Chart officially announced that BTS has once again broken the highest album sales for the month! 

It was on March 12 when the K-pop boy group BTS successfully sold 4,114,843  copies of their latest album "MAP OF THE SOUL:7" just for the month of February. 

The album was released in the public on February 21 but gained incredibly high figures of sales after nine days when the album was launched.

Beating the girl group IZ*ONE's track BLOOM*IZ that has 397,641 sales, following THE BOYZ's track REVEAL with having 85,149 sales. 

The popular boy band BTS did not only just hit their goal but also have surpassed their previous record for their album in 2019 "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" garnering 3, 229,032 sales and achieving highest yearly sales in the history of the Gaon Chart. 

BTS managed to earn this high amount of sales for the month of February in just a span of nine days despite the cancellations of their album promotion due to Coronavirus infection. 

It has been reported that BTS's "MAP OF THE SOUL PERSONA" has been awarded for having millions of sales and was included in Guinness World of Records title! 

Released on April 12, 2019, their last album "MAP OF THE SOUL PERSONA" has surpassed Kim Gun Mo's 1995 album titled "Wrongful Meeting" which sold 3.3 million copies domestically.

MAP OF THE SOUL: Persona has also been included in the United Kingdom's Official Albums Chart. 

In 2019, their track "Boy With Luv" has also been awarded by the Guinness World of Records as the "Most Viewed YouTube Video in 24 hours." 

Other crowned titles such as "Most twitter engagements for a music group" and "Most Twitter engagements." have also been awarded to the boy group BTS

BTS up to date is breaking every record made in the history especially music billboards, music charts, album sales, and every concert sold out tickets. 

They are now the first Korean boy group in the history of music to have four albums ranking number one on the Billboard 200 chart internationally! 

They have also marked their achievement by becoming the first K-pop group in Korea to hit number four on the Billboard HOT 100 chart with their newest title track "ON" just weeks after launching the full-length album for the year 2020. 

It was on March 11 when an episode of "Show Champion" featured the boy group BTS competing with other popular K-pop groups for the nomination of "first place" title. 

BTS took the trophy after winning against the IZ*ONE's "Fiesta," GFRIEND'S "Crossroads," ZICO's "Any Song," and PENTAGON's "Dr.BeBe."

That episode of the "Show Champion" was a special episode and did not require the contestants to include performances.
