On Monday, March 16, Super Junior's Shindong amazed everyone with another set of photos of his weight loss transformation.

As the year 2020 kicks off, he left his fans in awe as he came back on the stage for Super Junior's comeback album, "TIMELESS," with his 30kg weight loss. But take note that he didn't stop there, for after five months of maintaining and regulating his diet, Shindong has been able to reduce 37kg.

In the past, the male icon had tried several types of diet, such as Danish diet, restricting himself to take up a high amount of calories and wherein he can only eat food that has high-protein and is low-fat. Also, he came up to the point when he started starving himself amidst the busy and tiring schedule just to have a fit body. However, none of these worked, so he gave up and continued to live his sedentary lifestyle.

However, he experienced the aftermath of his weight gain in October last year, wherein he suffered some health complications. After consulting his doctor, Shindong found out that he could die in his 40s if he wouldn't lose weight. It can also cause hypertension or brain stroke.

After hearing the warning, he applied to a diet company and tried Juvis diet. After three months, Shindong has been able to knock off 30 kg, and after five months, he lost another 7kg!

In addition to this, he also talked about his past and current diet process and revealed the difference between them.

"During my past diet, I starve myself, and I lose weight. However, my condition is still not good for I gain weight once I start binge-eating again. That's when I gave up on my diet. But [with] this [Juvis diet], I [am] eating all three meals a day, eating food rich in various nutrients that are effective for weight loss, making my body healthier," the K-pop idol shared.

He also shared his data, which, if compared to his past index, his body fat was 40kg and eventually lost 13 kg, his body fat going down to 27kg.

"Besides, my health index rises from 49 to 88 after the diet, as well as my stress and fatigue index has also improved, and it was considered very satisfactory," he added.

Meanwhile, this is not the end of Shindong's healthy diet for his next goal is to lose another 4kg, and he can consider his weight loss successful. He is also preparing for the "yo-yo" effect or going back and forth to losing and gaining weight.

"Yo-yo will be managed well so that it doesn't come out. I will wash it away," Shindong shared.
