During this time she met one of her role models on the set of Unnie's Slam Dunk, the idol shared that she decided to become a singer after watching 2NE1 so meeting Minzy on the show released her inner fangirl. Somi said that she sang 2NE1's "Lonely" for her JYPE audition.
