Following the successful airing of its first season, "Produce 101 China," (a spinoff of the MNET's Korean Produce series), the show changed its name into Produce Camp 2020, gaining attention and interests from several fans and aspirants after the announcement of mentors who will guide the trainees this season.

The Produce show had already released a photo teaser, making the fans guess and anticipate the mentors who will be leading the female participants. However, Huang Zitao, as the National Representative of the show, finally unveils the person behind the "guess who" posters.

In addition to this, the show also confirmed that the faces who will complete the show include former EXO member Luhan, Show Lo, Mao Buyi, and f(x)'s Victoria Song. The celebrities will be reuniting once again, after their recent TV appearances, wherein Luhan and Victoria participated in the show, "Hot-Blood Dance Crew." At the same time, Show Lo and Tao meet in "Street Dance of China."

In addition to this, Show Lo, who is the youngest member of the team, will be going to become a dance mentor as Mao Buyi will become a permanent mentor after guesting on the show last season.

Moreover, fans are also excited as the two former members of the K-pop supergroup EXO will be having their reunion on the show again. EXO-Ls who are still supporting the former members have been anticipating the kind of interaction they are going to share in the show.

The Produce Camp 2020 is a Chinese reality television show spinoff of the South Korean television show Produce 101, which gathered so much attention back in 2017 up to 2019. The first series of the show, Produce 101 China, began on March 21, 2018, and Tencent Penguin Pictures and 7D Vision jointly produced the series and still ran under South Korea's CJ E&M.

Luhan and Tao appeared in the first Produce 101 in China and garnered quite an attention when Tao couldn't control himself and broke down in an episode. The 25-year-old star lost it when a trainee got hurt and yet no one dared to help her. While they were filming the reality television talent competition, one contestant accidentally fell and, unfortunately, got injured. Tao was evidently furious and scolded the trainees when he witnessed that no one from the competitors tried to help her.

Apart from this, the female contestants were also noticed to have been having a tough time while filming Produce 101 China. They were chatting even if the show's production staff was working hard as well. This made Tao upset and called them out. He started berating the trainees for their indefinite behavior and "lack of gratitude."

This pushed Tao to tell them he had it rough when he was a trainee himself.

"When I was a trainee, I couldn't eat whenever I wanted to. Twenty of us lived in one apartment but I never complained once," he recalled.

"When I debuted, I never argued with my group (EXO) over scenes. I was never envious of members who were more popular because when you have those group members, other members will also have a chance to be discovered," he went on.

Tearfully, the Chinese star also advised that they should help one another.

"At the end of the day, being a good person, being kind to someone is more important than anything," Tao said.
