The person who claimed to be a former YG Entertainment employee who gained a lot of attention during Seungri's scandal as he was the one who revealed the singer's whereabouts in January of last year had another interview. This time, he revealed the reason why BLACKPINK does not have any male staff members.
On March 12, the YouTube channel "Hu Keo Deul" uploaded the interview with the identity of the alleged former YG employee concealed.
The interviewee said, "BLACKPINK is mainly handled by Teddy. He doesn't want any male staff near the group cause he knows the members are too pretty. That's why all the group's staff members are girls."
People started asking who Teddy is and assumed that it may be Teddy Park. Mr. Park is YG's main music producer and BLACKPINK's only producer. The group hasn't worked with any producer except Mr. Park.
The group was once interviewed and Jisoo said, "We only work with Teddy Oppa because working with a different producer still scares us a little bit," she then laughed. "Besides, Teddy Oppa produces the best music for us."
"He's also worked with us since we started and he knows us the best. To be honest, we are very thankful that he is even working with us," Jennie added.
