2AM's Jo-Kwon Calls Out Annoying Fans: "Please Show Some Manners."

2AM Jo-Kwon was literally annoyed by some fans who went after him to the polling station.

The K-pop star expressed his sentiments on social media with regards to some followers who followed him while he was off to the polling precinct to cast his votes. He detailed the event and addressed them by saying, "Please show some manners."

What happened on that day?

In his lengthy message Instagram on Thursday, he shared a discomforting scenario between him and his followers and what he went through while voting in advance.

"I made up my mind and went to the polling station very comfortably, and I was unexpectedly upset. There were a lot of fans around the polling station," he said.

"Some of them followed me near my house and asked me why I was running away," he went on.

Despite the close distance between the polling station and the house, he took several turns and came in. "I think we need some manners," he pressed on.

While fandoms are those who uplifts their faves, there are some who go beyond their limits, such as the sasaengs, Korean term for stalkers. There are several instances that they would harass idols or create commotion. One example is TWICE's Nayeon's German sasaeng, who rode the same flight just to hand over something to the girl idol. It created a troublesome scenario while on air.

Nonetheless, his followers commended him for doing his part as a citizen of his country. Here are some of the comments on his post.

"What a desirable Korean citizen Kwon!"

"Wow. I thought you are a great person when I saw your blue color. I support you, Jo Kwon-hee."

"I really don't know where you voted, but you did a good job."

Jo Kwon visited the Cheongdam Community Center in Southern Seoul later in the day to hold a preliminary vote for the 21st Parliamentary Elections in South Korea. On top of his message, he is grateful to the officials who are operating the polling stations, especially now that the country is still experiencing the pandemic, COVID-19.

Recently, he was officially discharged from his mandatory military service after completing his training and now a reservist. He wrote a letter to his fans on Instagram along with some of his pictures captured while inside the armed forces as a seagent. He enlisted in August of 2018.

Jo Kwon is a member of the group 2AM. He is also an actor who appeared in several drama series, such as Drinking Solo, The Producers, and The Queen of Office. He also hosted several variety shows, such as Golden Tambourine and A Song For You.
