On the 16th of April, the official YouTube account of BLACKPINK uploaded the full version performance of the girl group during their appearance in Coachella 2019, one of the biggest US Music Festival.
Last year,2019, the girl group excites their fans and netizens for being the first K-pop girl group act that has been able to step on the stage of the prestigious festival. YG Entertainment, the agency of BLACKPINK, then wrote as a caption, "This was the first K-pop girl group performance in Coachella and one of the best performances in BLACKPINK's 'Legendary stage.'".
In addition to this, the agency also said, "It was the moment when [BLACKPINK] was invited as a sub-headliner and was on par with prominent musicians such as Childish Gambino and Ariana Grande. "
In the two videos that were posted, the powerful female group consisting of Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo, set the stage on fire with their popular songs; "BOOMBAYAH" and "Kill This Love." Despite their nervousness, the loud bang and cheers of the audiences made the performance more memorable. Their "BOOMBAYAH" performance was indeed high quality, complemented by their wide range of vocal and intense dance choreography.
